Ralph Lauren showed off some East Coast cool at the 2015 New York Fashion Week in the US, where leading fashion houses are showcasing their upcoming Fall collections for the year.
The new lines will be available in Polo for Women, Polo for Men, and the Purple Label collection, and go on sale by August.
“Polo for women is all about personal style. She’s a city girl, who mixes tough leather with a dress, or something sporty with something sexy, but she’s grounded in that Polo world of all-American sophistication,” the American designer said while revealing the new line.
He continued: “Polo for men is both modern and timeless. I’m excited to see it evolve each year, but Polo always stays true to its DNA and the vision I've had for it since the beginning. The Polo guy is any age, any place, with a look that is individual, cool and inspired by the energy around him.
“Purple Label is my statement of masculine elegance for men. It’s inspired by a certain Savile Row classicism, but with an element of ruggedness, too, that speaks to the modern gentleman.”
Celebrities that attended the Thursday presentation include American singers Ciara and Madison Beer, American actress and singer Emma Roberts, Australian singer Cody Simpson and model Bella Hadid.
Title-sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, the biannual New York Fashion Week runs till February 19.
