See how Boeing 777x looks...

Boeing has unveiled a digital look at some of the cabin features of its 777X airplane, as the company’s newest airplane gets closer to its first roll-out from the factory.

With the 777X, Boeing is building on the passenger-preferred cabins of today’s 777 and 787 Dreamliner families to enhance the total flying experience. All aboard the 777X will arrive feeling refreshed thanks to a spacious, wider cabin, Smoother Ride Technology, more comfortable cabin air, better temperature and sound quality and new lighting, says the company.

Windows are large and placed higher for more light and a better view for everyone. And the bins are large enough for everyone to stow a bag overhead, yet they close easily and out of the way, lending to the spacious, open feel of the cabin.

The all-new interior design of the 777X allows airlines to customise their cabin architectures within the same airplane: A range of ceiling and stow bin choices means that airlines can create distinct cabins that meet their passenger needs, it adds.

The first flight of the Boeing 777X is scheduled for later 2019, with first delivery slated for 2020.

Boeing has won 340 orders and commitments for the 777X from a range of airlines, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines.
