Ulysse Nardin is commemorating the Monaco Yacht Show’s 25th anniversary with a special edition of its iconic Dual Time watch.
The new Dual Time Monaco will be limited to just 100 watches, says the Swiss watchmaker, which is principal sponsor of the show for the seventh consecutive year.
With a nautical history as deep as the oceans, Ulysse Nardin has been steering timepiece technology for nearly 170 years. Harnessing the rhythm of the sun, moon and tides, Ulysse Nardin watches have been guiding sailors across the seas with exact precision for decades and this is why the manufacture choses the Monaco Yacht Show as the premiere setting to showcase its savoir faire in watchmaking.
Located in the pristine and picturesque Principality of Monaco, the Monaco Yacht Show is the world’s largest megayacht exhibition. Here, there are no limits to luxury. Hosted at Port Hercules from September 23 to 26 under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, the show will celebrate its 25th Anniversary this year. Ulysse Nardin will be there as the seven-time principal sponsor, and to commemorate the occasion, the high horology master will present an original rendition of its iconic Dual Time.
A limited edition of 100, the Dual Time Monaco reveals a fresh face, as well as a new addition to this prized Ulysse Nardin piece. Crafted in stainless steel and sporting a deep blue aesthetic as rich as the ocean’s depths, the timekeeper reveals a second time zone feature where time zone setting is simplified. Positioned over the crown, the function to set both the date and time is designed in such a way that it does not call for pushing or pulling the crown. Each manipulation is easily made by turning the crown forwards or backwards. Now, sailing through time zones is a breeze.
Equal part modern, equal part classic, the commemorative timepiece is ideal for stylish sporting adventures and leisurely yachting days, says Ulysse Nardin.
Each exquisite wristwatch is numbered and engraved with the custom Ulysse Nardin Monaco symbol, presenting its wearers with both a memory of this fine event and a timepiece that is the “ultimate travel companion”.
