A new classic car auction house in the UK will hold its first sale this spring.
Created by the highly respected team from Silverstone Auctions, CCA is a specialist auction house for the sale of ‘everyman’ classic cars.
From April the new company will hold regular sales on the first Tuesday of every other month at the high profile location of Silverstone race circuit, the home of British motorsport.
A special launch sale will take place on March 3 with sales taking place within the iconic F1 pit garages, a feature unique to any auction house.
CCA Auction Manager Joe Watts says: “Our aim is to make buying and selling a classic car as easy and as straight-forward as possible, as well as to inject some energy into this area of the market. Our dedicated team of knowledgeable classic car specialists will provide sellers with honest and realistic estimates, combined with extensive marketing and well-presented sale days at a world famous, well connected venue which will help your car achieve a great price.”
CCA is now inviting classic car entries with an approximate value up to £25,000 into its first sale. The fee to consign a car into a sale is just £60, while CCA will charge a highly competitive six per cent buyers and sellers commission.
The first sale will feature around 100 cars.
Joe continues: “For buyers, CCA will offer the opportunity to buy an impressive selection of iconic classic cars, from Golf GTis, to MGBs, Minis and Alfa Spiders. We will offer a fantastic selection of affordable classic cars including potential projects, those that can be enjoyed every day as well as best of breed examples. Each will be presented with extensive information and detailed condition reports.”
Although a brand new auction house, CCA will be guided by the experienced Silverstone Auctions team with sales presided over by proven auctioneer Jonathan Humbert
