Cars & Coffee kicks off Salon Privé previews

The first preview to this year’s Salon Privé will be held at Blenheim Palace in the UK next Sunday under the theme Cars & Coffee.

Promising a Sunday morning like no other, the event will not only offer visitors a mouth-watering selection of iconic supercars, but also coincide with Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations at Blenheim Palace.

Held on the weekend before Father’s Day, Salon Privé’s organisers have confirmed that the cars on display will include a rare Koenigsegg and Pagani Zonda, as well as a British-built carbon fibre-infused McLaren 675LT.

The event will also showcase over ten Ferraris, including a high-specification Scuderia Spider 16M, a modern 458 Speciale, and a F360 Challenge Stradale. Joining them is an unusual, one-of-54 classic Lamborghini Silhouette P300 as well as an Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster and Murciélago 40th Anniversary Edition.

Acting as exciting previews to the main Salon Privé event from September 1 to 3, Cars & Coffee is the first in a summer series of events in the East Courtyard, all focused on well-known automotive themes.

Highlights also include one of Porsche’s latest stars, the Porsche Cayman GT4, as well as an ultra-rare 964 Turbo 3.6. Flying the flag for Britain will be a brace of naturally aspirated Aston Martins: the Aston Martin V8 Vantage ‘X-Pack’ and run-out edition, V12-powered, DB9 GT.

Not only will Supercar Sunday visitors be able to view the high-octane gathering of supercars and hypercars in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, but they will also be able celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, which is also being held at the palace throughout the day.

The Palace’s ‘street party’ will include hold a big screen which will stream the nation’s celebrations live from The Mall in London, and the palace’s kitchen will provide a selection of treats and champagne for visitors to enjoy. Throughout the day, guests to Blenheim Palace will be able to play cricket and listen to a live brass band in the grounds.

Cars & Coffee gatherings offer a stylish and relaxed event for the whole family, combining carefully considered cars with the opulent surroundings of the palace’s grounds. Open to all owners, enthusiasts and connoisseurs, the public can enjoy the event for a small Blenheim ‘Park & Gardens’ fee.

Following the June 12 Cars & Coffee Supercar Sunday, the next preview will be on July 3 (60s & 70s Classics), showcases some of the finest cars from the 60s & 70s against the backdrop of the stunning World Heritage site of Blenheim Palace.

Finally, Speed & Style on August 21 will preview the Pirelli Prestige & Performance competition and provide the opportunity to enjoy some amazing cars and a final coffee morning ahead of the main Salon Privé event.

Guests of Cars & Coffee are welcomed for a ‘Park & Gardens’ fee of £14.90 per person and £6.90 per child.
