Relive the life of high society New York in the late 19th century with The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm complete, with century-old traditions and rituals including its legendary butler service – the ultimate combination of old-school luxury with new-world sophistication.
A born inventor and change maker, John Jacob Astor IV founded The St. Regis New York as a place to pursue his passions in the company of the city’s luminaries. More than a century later, the St. Regis brand is renowned for its tradition of innovation and commitment to impeccable service at more than 40 hotels and resorts around the world.
Located in The Palm Tower at the heart of Dubai’s world-famous Palm Jumeirah, the hotel is ideally situated for guests to explore the island, its stunning beaches and breathtaking views while also discovering the city. This five-star hotel, situated on the trunk of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, connects to the nearby Nakheel Mall with its 300 shops, restaurants, entertainment outlets and its own Palm Monorail station.
The hotel occupies the first 18 floors of Nakheel’s new 52-storey landmark development, The Palm Tower, which also features The View at The Palm, a stunning observation deck which sits 240 m above the iconic island and offers sweeping, 360-degree views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.
With a starting size of 43 sqm, all rooms boast a dedicated seating area, floor-to-ceiling windows, and abundant closet and luggage space. A tranquil night’s rest on a feather-soft mattress with Frette linen and down-filled pillows and attentive and personalized 24-hour St. Regis Butler Service make for a very restful stay.
While St. Regis borrows the tradition of butlers from a century ago, there is nothing outdated about this luxury service – the butlers too have evolved with time. They will, of course, part your curtains for you in the morning if you so wish (and fold a neat cravat!) and they can be reached via text messages, email or through the Butler Service Desk. Services include but are not limited to packaging and unpackaging of garments, complimentary pressing of up to two pieces of clothing, beverage service, wake-up calls and more.
The hotel also offers handcrafted cuisine across four restaurants and lounges, two infinity swimming pools, workout in The Exercise Room and the exquisite and most relaxing treatments at Iridium Spa. Conveniently located to discover Dubai’s main attractions, the hotel is one monorail station away from Aquaventure Waterpark and an easy three-minute drive to The Pointe, an iconic waterfront destination, with restaurants, shops, and the world’s largest fountain measuring 7,327 sq m.
Designed with St. Regis Hotels & Resorts’ timeless aesthetic, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm carefully balances opulence with refinement and elegance. The hotel features 264 lavishly appointed rooms and 26 elegant suites, each with expansive views of The Palm Jumeirah and Dubai’s skyline through its floor-to-ceiling windows.
The culinary journey includes an elegant ladies-only afternoon tea lounge and a specialty restaurant. Named Her by Caroline Astor, the outlet is a tribute to the founder’s mother Caroline Astor, who in the late 19th century was highly regarded as the Queen of New York high society. As a doyenne of glamour during the Gilded Age, her legacy lives on in St. Regis properties through exclusive fashion partnerships with world-class couture designers and global tastemakers. Indulge in luxurious pastries at Her by Caroline Astor paired with exquisite afternoon tea, served in the most elegant setting.
Cordelia, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a seafood specialty restaurant, to enjoy exquisite handcrafted menus paired with fine wines and creative mixology. For an intimate atmosphere head to The St. Regis Bar, located adjacent to the reception.
Caroline Astor has also inspired Four Hundred, the signature perfume of St. Regis hotels. It is a tribute to her legendary gatherings hosted at the dawn of New York’s Gilded Age. The number “400” refers to the number of guests chosen by Mrs Astor from the highest echelon of New York society. Created by Carlos Huber of Arquiste Parfumeur, this modern scent reprises the exotic woods of her ballroom, along with notes of her favourite flower—American Beauty roses—which adorned her ballroom during those magical evenings.
Newest to the running list of spectacular experiences at the hotel is Sunset Sessions. Recently introduced at Dip Pool Bar, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm’s spectacular sunset hideaway, guests are invited to escape the everyday with smooth sips and al fresco light bites. Located under lush palm trees and overlooking the gorgeous Palm Jumeirah, Dip Pool Bar promises all the right ingredients for a relaxed day lounging by breathtaking infinity swimming pools, complete with great food and an impressive shisha selection.
Dating back to the battles of Napoleon Bonaparte, who famously opened champagne with his sabre in both victory and defeat, the art of sabrage is the signature ceremony of the St. Regis Evening Rituals series. It is definitely a sight to behold and the staff are trained perfectly to perform this stunning feat of breaking open a bottle of bubbles with a military strike of a sword.
The hotel offers rejuvenating treatments for the body and soul at the brand’s signature Iridium Spa, and an extensive range of unique fitness and relaxation facilities. Home to the second Iridium Spa in the Emirates, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm’s signature spa boasts six treatment suites and respective ladies’ and gentlemen’s relaxation areas, along with spa facilities including a sauna, and steam room. From lush surrounds to precious ingredients prized for their healing benefits, every aspect of the spa sanctuary is custom created to captivate the heightened senses and committed to delivering pure decadence.
The spa menu features an exceptional range of treatment options, complete with specialised experiences that incorporate its core partnerships with leading wellness brands, AMRA Skincare and Sothys.
The property caters for spectacular business events with its six multi-purpose meeting and event rooms and elegant ballroom. The daylight ballroom has ceiling-to-floor windows making it ideal for weddings and celebrations. Over 1,080 sq m of conference facilities along with the latest in audio-visual setup and video conferencing technology makes this 290-key property perfectly suitable for a MICE event on The Palm Jumeirah.
