Autumn 2023
Sold by Fraser to her new owner in 2022 just ahead of last year’s MYS, the 97.2-metre Carinthia VII has undergone extensive refit by Lürssen at its Hamburg facilities. The work included redesigned exterior decks with new lounge and living areas and a new 12 m/39’ pool and fitness room.
Carinthia VII was presented to the charter market for the very first time, represented exclusively by Fraser.
Designed by the multi award-winning Tim Heywood, Carinthia VII is widely regarded as one of the world’s first true mega yachts.
Named ‘Project Faberge’ during her construction, Carinthia VII represents a milestone in the history of both Lürssen and the world of yachting today. Built throughout in steel and exemplifying a level of craftsmanship, engineering and styling rarely matched even to this day, Carinthia VII has remained a hidden gem over the last 20 years with views of her interior rarely seen.
The influence of Carinthia VII has been felt far and wide across the yachting industry with Heywood himself commenting on how “several yachts were consequently designed and built that owe their DNA to her.”
Carinthia VII is coated in what is now referred to as the iconic ‘Carinthia Blue’. Her performance package enables her to reach a remarkable 26 knots.
